ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) -  Kris Lenzo has taken what others would consider a disability and found a tremendous talent for dancing. In 1979 Lenzo was involved in an accident at work, when he lost his legs. Before then he had never performed publicly.

The Academy of Movement and Music, is where he got started. When his daughter enrolled preschool there, he asked the administration if they could make the building accessible. The children and administration did that, and also asked Lenzo if he would participate in a dance they created, commemorating and featuring dancers with disabilities. Lenzo has been non-stop, perfecting his craft ever since.

He will be performing at the dance St. Louis spring to dance event this weekend at the Touhill at 6:00pm.
