ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-Denmark Laine is a freelance writer, poet, and playwright based in St. Louis. He is also a contributing music writer for Eleven Magazine.

His new book of short fiction is called, “Smalltown Kings.”The story revolves around Jonathan Prester, heir to one of America’s wealthiest families. He is left with nothing after his reclusive father leaves his fortune in the hands of strangers. As Jonathan searches for answers, he discovers the role his family plays in the world’s oldest mystery.
