(KTVI)-St. Louis Earth Day’s Green Dining Alliance has announced that the City of Maplewood Special Business District is the first Green Dining District in the nation. Many of Maplewood’s restaurants and food shops are artisan owned and operated with “farm to table” values. Many also participate in composting, recycling and waste reduction practices.

Green Dining District Members include Schlafly Bottleworks, Kakao Chocolate, Foundation Grounds, and Great Harvest Bakery among others.
