New study aims to decrease cardio vascular disease in Bosnian community

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - St. Louis is home to the largest Bosnian community in the U.S.

A study is now taking place to examine Bosnian heart health and the study needs participants.

Dr. Dawn Hui, a SLUCare cardio-thoracic surgeon, joins FOX 2 to talk more about the study.

If you're a member of the Bosnian community, there is a free event this Sunday, August 16. The event will have Bosnian translators and aims to find participants interested in decreasing their higher risk of having cardio vascular disease.
