(KTVI)-In 1955, the St. Louis Globe-Democrat newspaper created an awards program that became known as the Women of Achievement Award, to recognize the achievement of women who have shown their dedication to improving life in the St. Louis community through volunteering.

The St. Louis Women of Achievement Award is the oldest, ongoing program in the area whose sole mission is to honor and recognize the volunteer efforts of women. Now they are looking for nominations for the 2015 awards. The awards luncheon will be held May 5, 2015.

Nominations must be in by Midnight Monday January 5, 2015. Nominators should use the online form or you can download a printable PDF to mail or fax. For questions call 314-421-2005.
