ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI)- Award-winning actress, artist and philanthropist Jane Seymour is in St. Louis to recognize a local charity. Seymour will be presenting a $5,000 check to the non-profit Butterfly Dreams Pageants.

Butterfly Dreams Pageants, a pageant for individuals who are “differently-abled” reach their goals and learn life skills like making friends, overcoming fear, embracing courage, and learning how to communicate their passions across to others. Their goal is to give every participant their moment to stand in the spotlight, showcase their abilities and not be defined by their disabilities.

Seymour is known for her performances in "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" as well as being a Bond girl in "Live and Let Die" in 1973. She currently has her own jewelry line, "Open Hearts by Jane Seymour" with Kay Jewelers.
