ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - The Gateway City Aquatic Club is getting ready for a Peeps-eating contest that can get a little soggy.

It is all to help deserving kids learn to swim. The Peep-pa-POOLooza race will pit swimmers against each other in a swim meet and Peeps-eating contest at the same time.

The fundraiser will help kids with the costs of joining the Avenger Swim Team. The scholarship fund will help new and existing team members.

You are encouraged to grab a friend, designate who will be the swimmer, and who will be the Peep Eater. For every 120 yards swam, the Peep Eater has to each one Peep marshmallow candy before the swimmer can continue. You have 50 minutes to win bragging rights. Age divisions go from under 30 to over 100.

Saturday, March 21
