ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Uber, the hip transportation service app, is not yet in St. Louis City or County. However, a petition is online that would support Uber coming to the Lou.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Taxicab Commission has barred ride-sharing services from operating in St. Louis.

Ray Mundy the director of the University of Missouri St. Louis Center for Transportation joins Fox 2 to explain the reasoning behind the ban.
