FENTON, MO (KTVI) – For years, the two and a half million square feet Fenton Chrysler plant has sat empty. However, this lot could soon be the home of a new sports and entertainment venue.

Terry Barnes, of KP Development, and Mike Barack, of Hat Trick Consultants, speak with Fox 2’s Lisa Hart about what to expect with the new Fenton arena.

Quick facts about the upcoming development:

  • Home to professional hockey, would host concerts, special events, high school graduations, conferences, competitions, and athletic tournaments. It would be the ‘anchor’ to a full-scale retail center including restaurants, shops and a hotel.
  • Fenton Logistics Park is located directly off I-44 and Bowles in Fenton and is in close proximity to I-270 and 141. The venue would face I-44 and be located on part of the 60 acres designated for retail use.
  • KP Development completed its purchase of the 300-acre property in 2014. Their plans include 240 acres of mixed use, business, office, and industrial. The remaining 60 acres is slated for retail.
