(KTVI) – It’s a story that is hard to forget.  Ten years ago, the city pound opened the door to its gas chamber, and there was still a dog alive inside.

His story helped change the minds of officials here in St. Louis and soon the story of “Quentin the Miracle Dog” was being told across the nation.

Randy Grim, founder of Stray Rescue stopped by the studio with Quentin to give an update about how he’s doing.

Grim talked about Quentin’s stardom and his book Quentin: The Miracle Dog.

Quentin has been in the spotlight for some time now, and he’s ready for retirement.
