CREVE COUER (KTVI)- A Missouri couple is proud to be the parents of rare identical triplets. One report puts it at one in 60,000 pregnancies while another says it’s more unusual at one in 500,000.

The Partridge family says they have a lot of work ahead but they are excited about their new additions. We introduced you to Laura and Brad Partridge when they found out they were expecting triplets. They were amazed.  Now they are parents of identical triplets: adorable Sonja, amazing Sylvia, and precious Scarlett.

“We are taking it one day at a time," said Brad.

Laura and Brad say they conceived the triplets without fertility treatments. The couple also has a 3 year old son and a 1 year old daughter.

“It will be a challenge . . . but it’s also a special blessing,” said Laura.

The babies arrived a few months before their due date. The babies were delivered in March and were released from the hospital this week in healthy condition. Dr. Gilbert Webb, an obstetrician at Mercy Hospital, delivered the babies and said the Partridge triplets are only the third set he has seen in his 27-year career.
