ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KTVI)- Monday, Feb. 8 marks the new year in the Chinese calendar, also known as the Spring Festival.

Chef Domitrio Lewis from P.F. Chang's demonstrated some delicious dishes people can make in their home this morning.

On the Chinese calendar, 2016 will be the Year of the Monkey. Festivities in the Chinese culture start right before the new year, and continue until 15 days after the new year. The 15th day is called the Lantern Festival.
