ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Fans of Salume Beddu and Katie’s Pizza do not have to choose between their favorite eateries.
Through Sunday, October 11th, Katie’s is hosting the Salume Beddu Takeover. Guests can enjoy a specialty pizza with prosciutto cotto, Everton cheese, butter poached potatoes, oven dried cherry tomatoes, and pickled serrano peppers.
The dish is inspired by the work of chef Mark Sanfilippo from Salume Beddu.
Owner Katie Lee Collier of Katie’s Pizza and Pasta Osteria keeps events coming for her guests. On October 20th, she will host Giveback Tuesday. All proceeds will go to The Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis. On the fourth Tuesday of every month, Collier raises money for a local charity.
