Last week, we were saddened by the news of a distemper outbreak at Stray Rescue of St. Louis, which led to the deaths of nearly 20 dogs. The shelter had to be temporarily shut down, putting a big financial burden on the organization. Fortunately, one of Stray Rescue’s business neighbors has stepped in to help.
Stephen Hale from Schlafy Beer visited Fox 2 News in the Morning to discuss a new fundraising venture involving beer and biscuits.
Schlafy has made Oatmeal Stout Beer Biscuits for dogs and they’re donating 100% of the proceeds back to Stray Rescue. The goal is to raise $5,000 towards the shelter’s goal of $100,000.
