ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – As we head into the summer months, the flu and flu vaccines may not be on your mind, but they are on the minds of researchers at Saint Louis University’s Vaccine and Treatment and Evaluation Unit.

A recent million-dollar grant from the National Institutes of Health will allow SLU to study a universal flu vaccine.

Dr. Sharon Frey, clinical director of the evaluation unit, visits Fox 2 News in the Morning to talk about the study.
