Songs4Soldiers surprises Air Force veteran with a new car

O’FALLON, IL. (KTVI)- Songs4Soliders is a group dedicated to enhancing the lives of combat veterans and their families who have limited resources. The group said they honor veteran service through effective assistance in everyday situation.

This morning, John Pertzborn and Randi Naughton were present as Songs4Soldiers and George Weber Chevrolet teamed up to present a veteran with a surprise gift.

David Beckerly is an Air Force veteran who served from 1994-2003 as an aircraft mechanic. Beckerly is currently looking for a job, and said he had also been recently having car trouble. The brand new Chevy Cobalt he received as a surprise live on air is certain to help his situation. Beckerly currently lives in Shiloh, Il. with his wife, DeeMuriel, and his three children.

Beckerly was unaware he would be receiving the vehicle, and had actually driven to O’Fallon with Dustin Row, the president and Director of Logistics at Songs4Soldiers.
