ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-Children’s Hospital will be promoting health and safety this weekend at The Great Forest Park Balloon Race. The hospital will have a table at the event where children can build their own first-aid kit. The kits will provide children with antiseptic wipes, antibiotic ointment, and-in honor of the Forest Park Zoo-animal themed band-aids. Children’s Hospital believes that providing first-aid kits empowers children by letting them know that they are in control of their own health.

9 AM Show host Kim Hudson met with Dwayne Ingram of Children’s Hospital to discuss their event table as well as their mission for improving children’s health.
