St. Louis County Police Pipe, Drum Corps to open at Backstoppalooza

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Backstoppalooza concert is right around the corner this Saturday to help raise money for Backstoppers!

Chesterfield Police Department Captain Ed Nestor St. Louis County Police Detective David Sandbach, who also plays the bag pipes, are pumped for this year’s Backstoppalooza!

We all know the amazing work the Backstoppers do for our first responders in crisis. They are always there to help families of fallen police officers and firefighters. They rely on donations to keep going and this weekend a great event where you can help.

The 4th annual concert will be at 6 p.m. outside at the Chesterfield Amphitheatre.

The St. Louis County Police Pipe and Drum Corps will open for the Eagles tribute band, 7 Bridges Band at 6:00 p.m.

This is a free event, however all food and beverage sales benefit the Backstopppers.

The event`s title sponsors include the Budweiser Taste of St. Louis, Merrill Lynch, Mobile on the Run/Country Club Car Wash, City of Chesterfield, Grey Eagle Distributing and Hesse Martone. The Monarch Fire Department, Chesterfield Parks, Recreation & Arts, Chesterfield Police Department and the Rotary Club of West St. Louis County are the event organizers.
