ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The St. Louis Fire Department has a special house that fills with blinding smoke. Ironically, firefighters call it the “Safe House”.
Kids try to find their way out of the house that fills with the same type of smoke that you see on a stage during a music concert. So, it is not toxic to the lungs. The goal is to empower kids to help their families develop an escape plan, in case their home catches fire.
