St. Louis Magazine's Dining Editor, George Mahe, stopped by the studio with his favorites featured in November's Best Desserts issue.
One of the featured desserts is called Baked Alaska and can be found at the Ritz-Carlton.
The Baked Alaska is made of meringue, white chocolate, and layered with strawberry sorbet and almond cake.
Another one of George Mahe's favorites includes Pavlova from Cielo.
Ingredients in this dessert include meringue, lavender-infused honey, chocolate amaretto cream, ginger sorbet, and candied violets.
Banana Cream Pie for Two also made the list of the Best Desserts in St. Louis. This treat comes from Scape, and it is featured on the cover of the magazine.
This pie is made with a cookie crust of Do-si-dos in the spring and Nutter Butters the rest of the year.
