ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Are you ready to celebrate what some are calling the city’s favorite festival?
The St. Louis Renaissance Festival runs now through October 16th at Rotary Park in Wentzville. The event will feature live armored jousting, five themed weekends and nine stages of live entertainment. Festival goes can also expect over 100 Artisan shoppes, food, drinks and more!
Come out to experience the infamous Throne of Swords, wine cafe, Knight Challenge obstacle courses and 25 free family activities. There’ll be a Fairy Wing Forest and a Mermaid Cove. Some of the activities include pirate hat making, fairy wand making, maypole dancing and meet and greets with entertainers!
Other activities include joining the Queen & her ladies for a whimsical time of story and song while sipping tea. The Queen’s Tea happens daily at 3:00 p.m. It’s $15 per person.
You can also mingle with the Princesses while enjoying a light snack, crafts and entertainment at the Fairytale Princess Party! There’s also a photo opportunity at the end! This activity, which runs daily at noon, is recommended for age 5-12. It’s $10 per child.

According to their website, the Festival bans guns on their premises.
Longbows are allowed as long as they are not strung. Arrows, with tips are not allowed unless you are competing in the longbow competition that day. Swords, knives, dirks, and daggers must be completely sheathead and peace-tied. Axes, claymores, maces, antique firearms, pikes and halberds are not allowed on the Festival site.
There will be no drawing of any weapon at any time. You must be 18 years or older to carry a weapon.
