(KTVI) – A new free social network will attempt to attract more users in St. Louis today. It’s called “Nextdoor,” a web of private social networks that links people to their neighborhoods and local government.

Sarah Leary is the co-founder and she talks about the St. Louis city response to the program.

Board Alderman president Lewis Reed and the City of St. Louis launched, “Nextdoor”. They will be announcing the neighbor-to-neighbor social launch at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Clifton Heights Park.
