(KTVI)- The American Automotive Association in Missouri offers ways to stay warm, even when your car's engine goes cold during your commute.
The first snow of the season can sideline your ride.
But, you do not have to turn into an icicle while waiting for help. Here is a list of items you want to keep in your car, just in case.
1. A mobile phone and car charger
2. A flashlight with extra batteries
3. A first-aid kit
4. Drinking water
5. Extra snacks and food for your travelers and any pets
6. Battery booster cables
7. Emergency flares or reflectors
