ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Award winning writer, editor and founder of Safe Kids Worldwide Herta Feely stopped in the studio to talk about her new book Saving Phoebe Murrow.

Herta Feely was inspired to write this book after hearing about Dardenne Prairie teen Megan Meier, who took her own life after a cyber bullying incident.

Herta Feely  discussed social media, ‘sexting,’ and cyber-bullying: how our communities can protect kids from social media’s dark side. She also discussed how parents can strike up a dialogue with their children about bullying and cyber-bullying.

The Megan Meier foundation is hosting Herta’s book launch event and Megan’s mother Tina will be there with Herta Feely as they both answer questions and discuss how to help protect teenagers on the internet.
