DES PERES, MO (KTVI) – This week we're featuring some restaurants as part of Great Food In The Lou Week.

Monday, Bravo Cucina at West County Center stopped by. Lydia Gwin showed us their great Pasta Primavera recipe.

Pasta Primavera

½ oz olive oil
4 oz. Mushrooms, sliced
4 oz. Zucchini, quartered
1 oz. roasted red pepper
½ tsp. garlic, chopped
1 Tbsp carmalized onion
4 oz. tomato sauce
1 pinch of salt and pepper
1 oz. reggiano, grated
6 oz pasta, your choice, cooked
1 Tbsp basil
Freshly cracked pepper

Heat oil in sauté pan.  Add mushrooms and sear.   Add zucchini and sear.  Add garlic and sauté.  Add onions, red pepper and basil, sauté.  Add tomato sauce.  Heat through.  Season with salt and pepper.  Add cooked pasta.  Place in bowl and enjoy.
