ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A former storm chaser’s baby girl is a living reminder of the Joplin tornado that struck one year ago. Eddie Weiss is the father of Joplin Liberty Hope. She was born after the Joplin tornado. Why was she given such a unique name?

Eddie Weiss is in St. Louis to speak at two branches of the St. Louis County Library on Tuesday. The first event is at the Daniel Boone branch in Ballwin at 2pm on Tuesday afternoon. The second event is happening at the Rock Road branch in St. Ann at 7pm.
