ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – What if Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcom X sat down and talked about their opposing views on their shared passion – ending racism once and for all?

What if you could be a silent witness to that sit-down?

The assassinated Civil Rights Era leaders spent most of their careers in the 1950s and 60s at odds over how to win civil rights for African-Americans.  Dr. King advocated a non-violent approach.  Malcom X was willing to use armed force, if necessary.

The St. Louis Black Repertory Theatre opens “The Meeting,” a drama depicting this hypothetical face-to-face.
