ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – There is a big toy drive designed to give back in a special way.
The Fire Truck O` Toys was created by 11 year-old Children`s Miracle Network Ambassador,
Mackenzie Scott in 2011. As a child, she was diagnosed with a degenerative bone disease
called Legg-Calves Perthes. During her treatment time in both SSM Cardinal Glennon and St. Louis Children`s Hospitals, she noticed many children and families missing the opportunity
to share in the joy of the holidays. It has since been her mission to make sure every hospitalized child and family receives that joy in the form of the simplest of gift s at Christmas – a toy!
Donations are accepted at local area Domino`s Pizza, Dairy Queen Restaurants, Sam`s Clubs,
