River City Raiders ask for Rams clothing donations

ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KTVI)- The River City Raiders have joined a large group of St. Louis based companies offering to take Rams clothing to donate to a good cause.

Kenny Nowling, CEO of the River City Raiders, stopped by the Fox 2 studio this morning to discuss his initiative with Kim Hudson. Nowling and the Raiders are offering 20 percent off Raiders gear when donating Rams gear. Rams fans with season tickets are also eligible for free season tickets to the five home games for the Raiders. All clothing donated will be donated to those in need.

Other groups in St. Louis offering to take Rams clothing donations include the River City Rascals, the American Legion and Crown Candy Kitchen.

The River City Raiders, formally known as the St. Louis Attack, are a professional indoor football team based in St. Charles, Mo. The team changed their name after they were purchased by an outside company after their 2015 season.

The River City Raiders kick off their 2016 season Feb. 27 against the Northern Kentucky Nightmare at home in St. Charles.
