ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - So are your kids ready for Halloween? Do they have a trick prepared to get their treat? Melenie Broyles with Etiquette Saint louis has tips to make sure your children aren't going to frighten you going door to door.
Halloween Etiquette:
•Do not walk through yards. Use sidewalks and walkways.
•Do not grab candy.
•Take what you are offered, do not ask if they have anything else.
•Do not take more than one, unless there is an instruction to do so.
•Go early!
•Watch for lights or jack o lanterns as a sign a house is ready or is still open.
•Wear a real costume. Sweats and a pillow case are not sufficient.
•Please and Thank you- Yes ma'am, no ma'am, or no thank you are all good options.
