ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Cardinal’s manager Mike Matheny shares a little secret with St. Louis in a new TV ad: he likes to play chess, and encourages young people to do the same by visiting the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of St. Louis in the Central West End.

And this would be a good time to visit the chess club, as the U.S. Chess Championships begin Wednesday night.
