This weekend, expect to see ice sculptures and delicious s’mores. And Joe Edwards is kicking it off in a different way. He’s parachuting in!

Sculptors are also getting ready to show off their skills on Delmar. This event is more than just animals and letters carved from ice.  There will also be performers, games and even human dogsled race and penguins just walking around.

It all starts with the Snow Ball at the Moonrise Hotel at 7 p.m. Friday.  Tickets start at $30.  You can also buy the VIP “Take the Elevator Home” package and just say at the Moonrise overnight.

Then Saturday at 10 a.m., you can warm up with the K5 or 10k frozen buns run.
