ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Lots of people make friendly wagers during sports playoffs. The "Beards vs. Birds" Challenge is between ad agencies in St. Louis and Boston.
Jake Edinger is Creative Director and Erin Smith is Public Relations Manager at St. Louis ad agency HLK. They are the agency responsible for the Cardinals ads, like the ones you saw for Spring Training.
The agency in Boston who does the same thing for the Red Sox called up HLK and asked for a little friendly competition.
Boston-based CTP and HLK created “Beards vs. Birds”. In the end, the winning team’s children’s charity wins with donations.
