  • Woman struck and killed in University City

    UNIVERSITY CITY, MO – The University City Police Department and St. Louis County Police Accident Reconstruction are investigating a fatal accident that occurred Monday afternoon around 2:50 p.m. in the 8300 block of Delmar Boulevard. Police say an elderly female was struck while attempting to crossing the road. The victim died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and is cooperating with authorities. Identification of the victim is pending notification of the family.

  • Mother detained by ICE has deportation order halted

    ST. LOUIS – New developments in the Ilsa Guzman-Fajardo deportations case Monday night. Fox 2 has learned that Guzman’s deportation order has been halted by a judge.  Guzman was facing deportation, and now an immigration hearing set for Thursday, March 14th on the legality of her detention.   • Missing 11-year-old boy in Macoupin County found safe

    MACOUPIN COUNTY, IL – The search for a missing 11-year-old autistic boy is over.  He has been found safe in a wooded area just south of Wilsonville, IL.  First responders in Macoupin County IL had been searching for the 11-year-old boy since 7:15 pm Monday night.  The boy, Isaiah Young had been spotted heading north from Rice Street in Wilsonville wearing a black jacket with green stripes, blue jeans, and tennis shoes.

  • Hospital: Suspect makes fake active shooter to avoid arrest in pursuit

    JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO – Mercy hospital in Festus was briefly put on lockdown Wednesday night, after a report of a suspicious person on the campus. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says there was a suspicious man on the campus who was threatening to fire shots, but no shots were fired.   • Chesterfield teen drowns while swimming at the Offsets

    MADISON COUNTY, MO – A 19-year-old Chesterfield teen died Wednesday while swimming with some friends at the Offsets near Fredericktown, Missouri in Madison County.  The sheriff’s department says Cole Duffell jumped off an embankment, surfaced briefly, but went underwater again and didn’t resurface.   • Fatal shooting leaves one dead on I-64

    ST. LOUIS – St. Louis City homicide detectives have been call to a fatal shooting on westbound I-64 at Clayton Avenue.  The shooting happened just after 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Police say the victim, a 30-year-old male was found in the driver’s seat of a SUV with a gunshot wound to the chest. An investigation is ongoing.   • Police on the lookout for missing Maplewood woman

    MAPLEWOOD, MO – Police are trying to locate 62-year-old Barbara Johnson of Maplewood.  She was last seen on May 16th, 2018 around 3 p.m. in the 7200 block of Manchester Road.   • Motorist should expect traffic delays on Mid-River Mall Drive

    ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – Starting Wednesday Mid-Rivers Mall Drive will undergo surface diamond-grinding operations between Mexico Road and St. Peters-Howell Road.   • Hazelwood man charged in the death of a bicyclist

    BRIDGETON, MO (KTVI) – A Hazelwood man is accused of reckless driving that caused the death of a bicyclist earlier this year. 41-year-old William Goad is charged with a felony of involuntary manslaughter in the first degree. Police say Goad was speeding and driving into bright sunlight in January, when he struck and killed Duane Johnson at Gallatin and Gist in Bridgeton.
