  • Major Case Squad activated in Pagedale murder

    PAGEDALE, MO – The Major Case Squad has been activated to investigate a double shooting in Pagedale. At approximately 4:45 a.m., Pagedale Police Department received a call of shots fired in the 1400 block of Nixon. Upon arrival, officers found two victims with apparent gunshot wounds. One victim, 45-year-old Keith Solomon,  was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was transported to an area hospital and listed in critical condition.   • Child died in Lincoln County house fire

    Moscow Mills — One child is dead and three people injured in an early morning house fire.  It happened in the 100 block of Blue Bunting Circle in Moscow Mills. When firefighters arrives they found heavy fire coming from the home. Firefighters located the deceased 7 year old boy inside the home. Nine of the occupants were able to escape the home before firefighters arrived. Four of those occupants were transported to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.  […]

LOUIS, Mo. — Commerce Bank says that an issue impacting their customer’s deposit accounts has been resolved.  But, there still may be intermittent issues with mobile and online banking systems.   • Injured Tarasenko will not travel to Boston

    ST. LOUIS — St. Louis Blues announced that forward Vladimir Tarasenko will not travel with the team for this weekend’s games in Boston and Detroit.  Tarasenko suffered an upper-body injury in the first period of the Blues’ 5-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings last night.  He is scheduled to be re-evaluated when the team returns to St. Louis.  At that point, the Blues will provide an update on Tarasenko’s status.

  • MoDOT will keep one lane of I-64 westbound at Kingshighway closed for two weeks

    ST. LOUIS – Drivers heading into and out of St. Louis on Interstate 64 should consider alternate routes or expect delays as crews will keep the left lane and shoulder on westbound I-64 between Kingshighway and Hampton closed for at least two weeks.   • Murder charges filed in Christian Ferguson disappearance

    ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed murder charges against the father of a young boy who disappeared 16 years ago. Dawan Ferguson, 46, was charged Friday with first-degree murder in the death of his son, 9-year-old Christian.   • Blues acquire All-Star defenseman Justin Faulk

    UNION, MO (KTVI) – All Union Schools were put on lockout after two suspicious people were spotted in the Franklin County Courthouse parking lot.     ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)– The St. Louis Cardinals announced that the team will retire former manager Tony La Russa’s uniform #10 prior to the Cardinals’ Friday, May 11 game against the Atlanta Braves. La Russa, the winningest manager in St. Louis Cardinals franchise history, announced his retirement last October after a record 16 seasons as the team’s manager and after guiding the Cardinals to their 11th World Championship.   • Cardinals make first spring training cuts.

    The St. Louis Cardinals announced following today’s game that they have trimmed seven players from their Spring Training roster, leaving 44 players in camp. The team optioned pitchers Maikel Cleto and Brandon Dickson and infielder Pete Kozma to Memphis (AAA) and infielder Zack Cox to Springfield (AA).  Non-roster pitchers Joe Kelly, Shelby Miller and Kevin Siegrist were re-assigned to minor league camp.
