  • March For Life Marks 40th Anniversary Of Roe v. Wade

    WASHINGTON, D.C. (CNN) –  Anti-abortion activists held their annual “March for Life” event in Washington. It coincides with this week’s 40-th anniversary of the Roe versus Wade Supreme Court decision upholding a woman’s right to the procedure. The high court made that ruling on January 22nd in 1973. Demonstrators rallied at the National Mall with politicians and religious leaders today before marching to the steps of the Supreme Court.

    (KTVI) – Superbowl XXVI fans got a somber treat during a commercial break in February 2002. Budweiser ran a one minute commercial featuring the Clydesdale horses lowering their heads to the New York skyline to honor victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Budweiser’s parent company published a release about the commercial. the said the beer company wanted to respectfully honor those affected by the events of September 11, 2001.     ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – FOX 2 photographer Dave Sharp was asked by Five Acres Animal Shelter to make a video for Petco’s “Great Ones” Contest. The contest is looking for people to tell their stories about being a great pet owner.  Dave Sharp made this video about his four Dachshund dogs called, “The Dog Father.” One his dogs was rescued by the Five Acres animal shelter.  That dog’s story is horrific and the damage done to her is permanent.     ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Police are investigating after a shooting left a 26-year-old man and a baby injured. The shots were fired from a passing car in the area of Cass and North 13th. According to St. Louis Police the victim was traveling with three other adults and a baby eastbound on I-70 when they were shot at from a person in another car.
