Molly Rose is excited to be back home in St. Louis after spending three years as a reporter in Kansas City. Before that, she worked as a reporter and anchor in Charlottesville, Virginia. She is a proud graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism (Go Tigers!) and loves her St. Louis Cardinals.
It’s been a lifelong dream for Molly to work as a journalist in St. Louis. She started her journalism career more than a decade ago when she served as editor-in-chief for her high school newspaper. Molly lived in Dellwood until second grade and attended Griffith Elementary School. She grew up just across the river in Edwardsville and graduated from Edwardsville High School. You can catch Molly’s traffic and news reports on FOX 2 news in the evenings.
One of Molly’s favorite places in St. Louis is Forest Park. She and her husband were recently married at The Jewel Box. Molly is a huge animal lover and spends a lot of time outside with her 7-year-old black lab rescue dog Avery.
Molly appreciates that journalism allows her to investigate wrongdoings. She is the recipient of a 2014 National Edward R. Murrow Award for one of her investigations revealing an incident in which the University of Virginia Hospital mistakenly sent a family home with their deceased loved one’s amputated body parts. She has also been recognized by the Virginia Associated Press for her work.
Do you have something you want Molly to investigate? What about a feel-good story you want to share? She would love for you to connect with her on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. You can also email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
