Shelby Lohrenz was born and raised in Troy, Illinois and graduated from Triad High School in 2014. She is currently attending Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville and is set to graduated in December of 2018 with a major in print and broadcast journalism and a minor in creative writing.

Shelby took an interest in writing at a young age and since then has aspired to be a screenplay writer in her future.
Other than writing, she also enjoys photography, singing, playing with her dogs and spending quality time with her loved ones on her spare time.
