NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – For the second day in a row, St. Louis County’s Accident Reconstruction team has been called out for a fatal accident.

The accident occurred Sunday around 3:15 p.m. at New Jamestown Road and Krenski in north St. Louis County.

 

Five individuals were in the vehicle at the time of the accident, ranging from 15 to 19-years of age.

Police said the driver, identified as 17-year-old Lauryn Wade, was speeding and lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree.  Wade died at the scene.

A witness at the scene said sometime drivers go hill jumping on the roads in the area.

The passengers in the vehicle were injured, one was airlifted to Children’s Hospital and one transported to Barnes Hospital.  Both are being treated for life threatening injuries. Two other victims were transported to a local hospital.

Police said all five occupants in the vehicle were wearing seat belts.

The accident remains under investigation.
