11th annual POW/MIA vigil run held at Scott Air Force Base

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. – The 932nd Airlift Wing held a 24-hour vigil run to honor prisoners of war and soldiers missing in action on Saturday.

Citizen Airmen from the 932nd Airlift Wing honor U.S. military prisoners of war and those missing in action during the 11th Annual POW/MIA Vigil Run at the James Gym track, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois,  September 19, 2020.  The run was hosted by the Air Force Sergeants Association with the USO on site offering hot beverages and food. This year’s event had the extra COVID-19 precautions with maintaining smaller groups safely spaced while moving the flags around the track.
