ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – St. Louis City police are handling an incredibly violent night in the city. Seventeen people were shot in seven different incidents.
One man is fighting for his life after he was stabbed multiple times.
The 17 shooting victims include four teenagers. Miraculously, all of the victims are expected to survive. There are no suspects in any of the shootings. The violence started around 10:30 p.m. Monday night at Highland and Marcus in North St. Louis were five people were shot, including those four teenagers from 13 to 17 years old. A 34-year-old woman was also shot.
All of the victims were outside a home when they say all of a sudden they heard gunshots then realized they had been hit.
In the next hour and a half, six other people were shot — four on Aubert in North St. Louis, one in South St. Louis during an attempted robbery and another on North Broadway.
Finally, a little after 1:00 a.m, police say five more people were shot with an AK47 on Warren in North St. Louis. Initially homicide detectives were called in but now police expect all of those victims to survive.
Officials say all of the victims in that case were outside a home when shots rang out.
Also around 1:00 a.m., someone was stabbed along South 38th and Meramec in South St. Louis. It’s unclear how badly the victim was hurt, but homicide detectives have been called in to investigate. In this case, police are looking for a ‘known suspect.’

Officers responded to the above address for a victim of a cutting. The victim was conveyed to a local hospital and listed in critical/unstable condition and was unable to
provide a statement. Investigation revealed that the suspect, who resides in the apartment next to where the victim was found, exited his apartment to investigate a noise coming from an unoccupied apartment. His wife reported that he left home with a butcher knife and returned with blood on his clothing. The victim was located on the floor of the unoccupied apartment. The victim and the suspect had had a previous ongoing dispute. Upon officers’ arrival, the suspect fled the scene and was entered as “wanted”. The investigation is ongoing.
Incident: Attempt Robbery 1st/Assault 1st (Shooting)

- Suspect: black male, 18-20-years old, 160-170lbs, 5’10”, white shirt, blue pants,
- entered a silver mini van
The victim was walking when he saw the suspect standing in the middle of the street yelling at him. The suspect announced a robbery and before the victim could give him any property, the suspect fired one shot at the victim striking him in the left leg. The suspect entered a silver mini van and fled west on Hartford. The victim was conveyed to a local hospital and was listed in serious/stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect and the victim engaged in a verbal confrontation and shortly after, gunfire erupted. The victim was struck in his arm and was conveyed to a local hospital and listed in serious/stable condition. The suspect was last seen running south across a nearby vacant lot. The incident is a result of an ongoing personal dispute. The investigation is ongoing.
Incident: Persons Struck; Leaving the Scene of an Accident

An off-duty officer observed the victims lying in the intersection after being struck by a vehicle that had fled the scene. Victim #1 was holding Victim #2 when they were struck. Investigation revealed a vehicle description of a red Chevrolet Monte Carlo with rims, last seen driving west on Natural Bridge. The victims were transported to local hospitals.Victim #1, who is pregnant, suffered internal injuries and was listed in serious/stable condition. The unborn child did not appear to be injured. Victim #2 suffered a fractured leg and internal injuries and was listed in serious/stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.

The victim reported he had been transported to a local hospital by friends to be treated for a gunshot wound. Investigation revealed that the victim and his friends were at the above location when a security guard told them there were some people outside the club with guns. A short time later, gunfire erupted. The victim attempted to run to his car when he was struck in leg. He is listed in serious/stable condition and being treated for a gunshot wound to his calf and a shoulder injury. The investigation is ongoing.

- Suspect: B-M, dark complexioned with a full beard and short fade hair style.

- Victim #1: 18-year old black female (graze wound to knee)
- Victim #2: 22-year old black male (shot in shoulder, forearm and hand)
- Victim #3: 23-year old black male (shot in shoulder,)
- Victim #4: 20-year old black female (shot in back and femur)
- Victim #5: 21-year old black female (shot in back)
Victim #1 reported that she, her sister and friends were walking out of her residence when the gunman came around the east side of her residence and began shooting. They all ran into her apartment when the gunman kicked open the door and continued shooting. The victims were conveyed to area hospitals for treatment. The above incident is believed to be connected to a shots fired incident that occurred earlier in the day in the 1800 block of Warren. In that incident 3 unknown black males fired multiple gunshots at a black male victim. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers received a call for a “shooting” at the above location and upon arrival, located a large amount of blood. No victim or witnesses were originally located. A short time later, the officers were advised of a shooting victim at a local hospital. Officers responded the victim reported playing basketball when an unknown suspect shot him. The victim was listed in serious/stable condition and was being treated for gunshot wounds to right buttocks, right hip, right calf and right ankle. The investigation is ongoing.

The victims stated that they were parked in front of the above address inside a vehicle smoking marijuana, when the suspect appeared on foot and began to fire multiple shots at them. Victim #1 and Victim #2 fled on foot and Victim #3 entered her vehicle and drove away. Victim #1 stated that as they ran, unknown suspects chased after him in a vehicle and shot at them. Victim #1 suffered a gunshot wound to his back. Victim #2 suffered gunshot wounds to his left shoulder and a fractured collar bone. Victim #3 suffered gunshot wounds to her buttocks. All three victims were conveyed to a local hospital and listed in serious/stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.

The victims stated they were standing in the front of the above address when two vehicles suddenly stopped in front of their location. They then saw the suspect exit the rear side of one of the vehicles and fired several shots in their direction. The vehicles were last seeing going south on Marcus. All 5 victims were conveyed to the hospital and were listed in serious/stable condition. Victim #1 suffered a gunshot wound to her leg. Victim #2 suffered a gunshot wound to her thigh. Victim #3 suffered a graze wound to the forearm. Victim #4 suffered a gunshot wound to the buttocks. Victim #5 suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. This is an ongoing dispute between two families. The investigation is ongoing.
