FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – The unified command for police efforts in Ferguson reports that 16 people were arrested between Friday night and sunrise Saturday while protesting outside the Ferguson police department. One police officer was injured during protest duty. One suspect was arrested for assaulting an officer and resisting arrest. The other charges were for peace disturbance and disturbing the peace.
Confirmed: 15 arrested in #Ferguson; one facing assault on a law enforcement officer charge. Other protesters remain peaceful.

Only one of the 16 people arrested is from the St. Louis region. That person is from Berkeley. Nine were from New York. Three were from near Chicago. Two were from California and one person arrested was from Iowa.
Arrest data from last night in front of Ferguson PD is out. 1 out of 16 from Missouri. 9 New Yorkers. One local calling them "riot chasers."
