2.2 earthquake hits Sikeston Mo area

NEAR SIKESTON, MO – Just before 7:30 pm Monday night, a 2.2 earthquake was registered by the United States Geological Survey.  The quake’s epicenter was located just over 13 miles south of Sikeston, at a depth of a little over 7 miles on the New Madrid fault.

There have been no reports of injuries or damage.
