ST. LOUIS (AP) _ Authorities are investigating after they say a woman was fatally shot and three men were injured in and around a St. Louis park. The shooting happened around 4p.m. Tuesday at Rumbold Park in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood. Police say 29-year-old Jennifer Dorsey was killed. A 20-year-old man, who was shot in the leg, is in critical condition. A 21-year-old man shot in the arm and a 46-year-old man with a graze wound to his back are both in stable condition.
St. Louis Metropolitan Police Lt. John Green said that one of the victims was found shot a few blocks away from the park. Authorities say they found at least 15 shell casings near the crime scene.
Two cars were captured on surveillance just minutes before the shooting occured. The vehicles were last seen heading west on North Market from Spring.
According to Green, police do not have a motive but assume the shooting was targeted.
Police are also investigating a homicide that happened overnight near North Kingshighway at San Francisco. A man in his 50's was shot around midnight at the Carousel Motel. The victim was shot twice in his chest.
The victim has been identified as Charles Walton, 54, of the 1600 block of Olive.
Investigators say the suspect is an African- American man who was wearing all black.
