(KTVI) – Two Missouri men killed in a military plane crash 63 years ago in Alaska are finally coming home Thursday.  The military found the remains earlier this year of Leonard Unger of Gerald and Wayne Jackson of Downing.

The men along with 52 others died when their cargo plane went down on a remote mountainside in 1952.

Unger’s family said they never had a proper funeral and now they can.

Both will be buried Friday with full military honors.
