ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- Three St. Louis men will spend the rest of their lives in prison for carrying out a murder for hire plot.
Surveillance pictures show the August 2011 killing by Christoper Spates. He pointed a gun at Angie Young sitting in a car, firing 11 shots.
It happened outside a White Castle restaurant at Kingshighway and Natural Bridge.
Prosecutors said Young's ex-boyfriend Leon Moss and Donald White found and hired Spates to kill her to keep her from testifying at his assault trial.
More than a dozen of Angie's relatives were in the courtroom for the sentencing.
The men plan to appeal their sentences.
The judge said public defenders would be appointed to represent them.
