JOLIET, Ill. (AP) – Four northeastern Illinois teenagers face child pornography charges after posting a video of themselves having a sexual encounter.

Joliet Police Chief Brian Benton says all four teens were arrested Friday and charged with child pornography after one of their parents notified the department.

Benton says the teens, a 15-year-old girl and boys ages 14, 15 and 16, filmed the consensual sexual encounter at one of their homes last week. He says one of them posted the video on Twitter.

The Joliet Central High School students made their first court appearance Monday.

They’re being held at the River Valley Juvenile Detention Center in Joliet.
