6 Million LinkedIn Passwords Posted To Web

(BBC) – LinkedIn, a social networking website is looking into reports that six million of its user’s passwords may have been stolen and posted to a Russian website.  The company tweeted the following statement “Our team is currently looking into reports.”

LinkedIn has over 150 million users.  One British security expert says the security breach looks genuine.
