BETHALTO, IL (KTVI) – A store in Bethalto sold a $600,000 winning lottery ticket over the weekend. Now all that’s left is for someone to come forward and claim the prize.

The winning ticket was purchased Sunday, May 24 from the Farm Fresh at 310 West Bethalto Boulevard. The ticket matched all five numbers—01, 02, 03, 06, 30—during the midday drawing.

Winners have approximately one year from the date of the original drawing to claim their prize.

Illinois Lottery authorities recommend the winner sign the back of their ticket immediately and keep it stored in a safe place until they can visit one of five official prize offices in the state: Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield, and Fairview Heights.

Farm Fresh will receive $6,000—one percent of the prize amount—for selling the winning ticket.

Lucky Day Lotto drawings are twice a day, seven days a week.
