MOSCOW MILLS, MO (KTVI) – It’s been a very emotional day for 16-year-old Victoria Faudi after hearing her mother, 36-year-old Jacqueline Faudi, and her two sisters were killed Thursday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 61 near Wentzville.

Victoria said her mother was on her way to pick her up.

“I feel like it has not sunk in yet. I’m in complete shock. My mom was on her way to pick me up, so I feel like I’m still waiting for my mom to show up,” she said.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the mother and two young children, a six-year-old and seven-month-old, were killed when their vehicle was struck from behind, crossed a median, and hit another vehicle. The crash was triggered when a northbound car, whose driver said he hit a patch of ice, lost control and struck Faudi’s car.

“My seven-month-old sister did not get to live that long, but she was an amazing person. Every time I saw her she was smiling,” Victoria said.

The family does not have insurance to bury their loved ones and a GoFundMe account has been set up to assist with funeral costs.
